Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Less outspoken than most, this dragon is, nonetheless, a member of the extremely selective and often snobbish Code Clan.  She is known by her fellow clan mates as VAtR, and, like them, has sworn never to take on a true name.  To those outside of the Clan, she is simply "The Snowangel", for many outsiders refuse to call Code Clan dragons by their codes, thinking it to be a rude way of describing oneself, while more still simply don't know each dragon's code by heart.

While many Code Clan members are rude and condescending towards outsiders, VAtR is the exception, taking every opportunity to spend time with others, helping them and being as kind as she can.  Seeing Candy Cane's anxiety each year, she has often wished that she could volunteer herself to take his place, but alas, her Clan refuses to allow her to, although it is not unheard of for a few beautifully made wreaths or a healthy sprig of mistletoe to mysteriously appear near the pine tree behind which Candy Cane often hides.
