Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Son of The Great Flamingo God (and therefore the son of one of the only dragons permitted to take extra mates in his home cave), Description Saviour takes pride in his abilities. His mother, a flamingo named for refusing all males, kept a close eye on him as he grew, showing him how to dance and hunt. His father encouraged his dancing studies but also taught him the science of writing and the art of imagination. He now takes these talents to help story writers and dragons everywhere write down about their exploits.

There is one bad thing about being the son of a 'god' though, and that is constant arguments as to where you and your mother belong in the religious pantheon. While not all Flamingos pray to The Great Flamingo God, God of Dancing and Descriptions, the ones who do tend to have strong thoughts as to where Description Saviour belongs in their religion, since The Great Flamingo God was just supposed to be the god in dragon form.
