Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Feathermay is a young Daydream dragon. Unlike all of the other dragons in her clan, her past is very bizarre. Several years ago, when unknown beings supposedly from another planet first came to Earth, their only purpose was to study any life forms they could find. They found a certain small Daydream egg in a cave, and brought it back to their home planet to study and learn from. Once Feathermay finally hatched, the beings planned to raise her to adulthood and then dissect her. Once she found out about their plan, she secretly boarded the next transit unit back to Earth. Once she got to Earth, she had nowhere to go, so she went to the pile of abandoned eggs piling up outside a cave. Izar found her there and took her back to his clan, where she lives today. All of the hatchlings in her clan love to hear this story, even though all of the adults don't believe a word of it.
