Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Melissa is one of the many dragons rescued and nurtured by the wide ranging clan of humans founded by AnselaJonla. Her egg was found in the desert and taken to a hatchery to be raised.

Once she matured, she found her lifemate, a Neotropical dragon, among the other AnselaJonla dragons. In the tradition of the flock, both dragons took the same name, Flitter, to pass down to any of their offspring that remained with them.

Melissa hates tea. She hates the smell, she hates the taste, she hates being reminded that her own scent, which she does not notice much like a person does not smell their own body's odours, is that of the disgusting mixture of fragrant leaves steeped in boiling water.

Why she hates tea so much can be traced back to just one thing: all her life people have assumed that she likes it because of her breed. Now she reacts violently whenever anyone mentions tea in her presence, smashing any cups that people dare offer her.

Coffee, on the other hand, is perfectly acceptable.
