Finally, after much feeding, the baby has grown into a full Dino! Dinos can eat almost anything, including things with spikes. In order to do so, they must have very tough stomachs. Green Dinos are the only type of Dino that is able to walk on two legs. This frees up their front two legs, which they use to catch and eat fish.

Apatogon is a breed unto himself, and doesn't seem to mind in the least. His scrollmates may look at him oddly because of his strange obsession with keeping little shaped animal skins on his feet, but he takes no offense. After all, what else can one expect from a gang of creatures who spend so much time laying eggs and guarding them. Silly habit.

He loves nibbling on sea urchins, and every now and then Serrelind brings him a few from her forays into the ocean at the end of her river. Why she does this is anyone's guess. Perhaps she knows how it feels to be an outsider, or perhaps she just likes the company of someone else who appreciates good fish.

He will never be respected or honored by his pack, but Apatogon is at least accepted by them, despite his quirks. His slightly dopey, good-natured personality keeps him out of conflict, and he does play well with hatchlings—though he has been known to get quite irate with them if they chew on his shoes...
