Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Every month, Demon from the River Styx--or just Styx for short--loves to sink his fangs into a fresh egg taken from the cave. Styx is named after a dinosaur called Stygimoloch; Demon from the river Styx was a nickname for it. This dragon is only seen at night, usually doing things most dragons would never want to see. Humans rarely see him, and if they do, they usually don't sleep well the next night--or year if they're really unlucky.

Styx was once called a curse by superstitious villagers; he drained the life from their livestock... or worse. A pure white dragon was called by the villagers to help them. That night it was eerily quiet, but the next morning, and every other morning after that, Styx was never seen again, and the white dragon was hailed as a god.
