Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Some of the tinsel's in Xythus's Tinsel Clans do not originate from her scroll, but has come from a dear friend's territory and who has chosen to stay with her own dragons. Those are easily recognized by their proudly worn sur-name "Ter", and are considered family by the native tins.

Ter's Emblem, or his informal nick "Enn", enjoys decorating. When he isn't doing his daily hunting or activities, he loves to make things pretty with his sense of style and taste. His sister (Ter's Mischief) and brother (Ter's Triumph) oftentimes like to tease him for being girly, but at the same time along with many others, respect him for his gifted talent at being able to make a place special by bringing out its elegant grace and beauty. Enn is often summoned by dragons of all types, asking for advice how to impress guests or females.
