Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Cheez-It Riot was adopted into the long line of Rioteers. Found by the leader of the Riots in a large piece of Swiss cheese, his life was saved from the hungry family that accidentally enchanted him into what he is today.

As a hatchling, he often had other dragons attempt to eat him during famines. Eventually, he was isolated from the other babies, until he could defend himself from their hunger. He never held a grudge, however, and when he reached adulthood, he rejoined the other dragons with a kind heart.
