Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

By some misfortune, Gluhoi was born deaf. His handicap never bothered him much as he had enough dragons cooing and fussing over him to make it to adulthood no problem. As he could still communicate with others just fine telepathically, his deafness only bothered him when it was time to hunt, as he couldn't hear his prey (and couldn't tell if he himself was making too much noise on approach). That led to him adapting a partly scavenging and partly vegetarian diet. In personality, Gluhoi is nice and shy. He'd rather surrender his positions and move somewhere else than to engage in an argument or a fight, and he has a hard time saying 'no' when someone tells him to do something, even if he doesn't want to do it. Bullies, like the red dragon Haggerty, would have found him an easy target if it wasn't for his friends and family, as well as the elders, protecting him like an iron wall.
