Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Abysso gena of the Hellfire Wyverns. As is common with this breed, she is a rather dominant, aggressive and impressive dragon, especially so as she is female. Due to her foul and rather hot temper, she was named "abyss-born". She has never been seen to run from a fight, even if the other dragon might have been stronger, bigger, more experienced or all three of them. The cave she now inhabits was the abode of an ancient Black dragon before Abysso gena challenged her. The Black dragon fled and Abysso gena destroyed the nest where one egg was still left. After she had settled down, she began to look for a mate. Most males of other breeds do not exactly take to female Hellfire Wyverns as they are too dominant and expect submission from their mates.

In the end she chose another Hellfire Wyvern named Igni gena.
