Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Scheintote and her brother, Totenglocke, were among the last eggs claimed from their dark cave the morning after All Hallow's Eve. It had been the first and last year their breed would be found in the cave... but that would not matter. The cover of night allowed the siblings to infect the eggs of other dragons, but they were inexperienced. They both killed many eggs before making a successful bite, and even then their eggs were repulsed from the clutch by the other dragons. It was regrettable that some of their own were lost, but only two could not stop the disgust of the rest of the colony.

The two were reviled in their own home, but they were determined. They would create their own coven. Many times their human introduced eggs infected by outsiders, but time and time again the siblings would turn them away. Their own "progeny" would be the only others in this place.
