Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Paper dragons are considered very valuable due to their fragility and rareness. When Floating had been stolen as an egg, her captor decided to pass her on to someone else. During the transfer the egg was handled roughly and some of the paper bent. Once the baby hatched, it was clear that one of the wings was so damaged she would never be able to glide on the air like the others. Floating tries not to let her disability get to her, and lives out a full life on the ground (and far from the other dragons' flames).
