Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Vazava (in ancient draconic, its name means "enchanted") lives in a place no other origami dares to tread: a volcano.  Mt. Laignive, being the magical center of the clan proved to be the most interesting place Vazava had ever been, if the most dangerous.  Xaviz, the volcano's guardian and mistress, allows Vazava to live in her cave, which possesses a fire shield, in exchange for Vazava managing her numerous magical artifacts.

As an assistant to Xaviz, Vazava is pro-mint.  However, being made out of paper, it is unable to actually fight in the war, and instead merely helps prepare potions and magical weapons.
