Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Filly is still very young and her finlike wings haven't grown in yet. And like other Waterhorse dragons she is really, really bad at walking on solid ground. So Filly usually stays at home where she gets pampered by her mum and dad and gets to eat the most delicious treats and never has to actually do anything. Filly is a sad, poor hatchling indeed.
