Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Unbeknown to most, Gillis was the writer behind most of Jack's and Elizabeth's songs. Although he is just a little hatchling, he has a great talent for writing music and lyrics. His youth is probably the reason why the songs of the White Stripes were so much more lively than those of most of the other Moonsilver artists.

He is extremely disappointed that the two adult dragons don't perform together anymore and hopes that they might reunite some day, because he has yet to discover other artists able to bring his songs alive so well.
