Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Vitrialias has a disease known as PPS (Peter Pan Syndrome) That prevents her from aging. She does not realize this however, and has buried herself and feeds just as aggressively as an adult. Even when confronted by Vethrenia, she struck violently with her tiny vines. Vitrialias refuses to talk to anyone, even if bribed or threatened.

    She initially planted herself close to the mouth of Niharia's cave. The guardian dragon knew that Vitrialias would eventually cause much damage to her daycare, and possibly to herself in trying to rescue others, so she transplanted the drakling to somewhere less trafficked. The task was quite difficult due to Vitrialias's vicious behavior.
