White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pearlwing, named for her pearly white scales, kept her hatchling clumsiness when she matured, and has a habit of crashing into random objects whilst in flight. Despite this, she is a very competent caretaker for other dragons, no matter how old they are, and is sometimes viewed by her peers as being rather patronising. Her siblings don't mind her fixing their bumps and scrapes... as long as she doesn't coo and baby-talk at them.
