Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has a number of fleshy growths on its head and back.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

This hatchling once was the son of the Czar of the Russian Cave. The Czar was ruling a very large Cave with many downtrodden grey subjects whose living conditions were poor - maybe the poorest of the entire continent.

Finally, in that fateful October, many of the subjects suddenly leaped forward in evolution. They developed colored skins, mainly Red and White, filling them with energy and the determination to overthrow the Czar, ending his centuries-old dynasty. This event is now known as the October Evolution.

The hatchling survived, but ever since the loss of power, it feels a bit blue.
