Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the child of a simple Water dragon and a sky dragoness, Mujina was born and raised in the great lakes among members of her father's breed, together with a handful of Blunas like herself. Before she was fully matured, Mujina fell in love with Ruyji, a handsome young male her own age, and the two decided to mate for life. But as they grew older Mujina and Ruyji grew apart and the more they matured the more they learned that they had almost nothing in common beside their breed. When Ruyji decided to explore the rivers and search for the fabled "ocean" the flying dragons told them about, Mujina stayed behind, claiming that she needed space to work things out.

A part of her still clings to her memories and dreams of her first relationship and wishes that she'd meet with Ruyji once again so they can reconcile, the larger part of her is happy though that he is gone and she can life her own life and can find out who she really is, before she works on finding a new mate.
