Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Loud and dominant, Fuschia Flamingo is the Alpha female of the Flamingo Flock.  Just as ditzy as her mate, Mr Flamingo, she takes huge pride in her vanity and spends much time preening.  She loves her mate dearly, though can't help being a shameless flirt; it's speculated that her outgoing personality and easy-on-the-eyes appearance is the main reason that Mr Flamingo is so busy chasing stray males away from his Flock.

Fuschia is unusual in the sense that she adores all hatchlings, not just her own; she can often be found tending to tiny pink flamingo chicks while the parent-birds are feeding.  She is known to humans, surprisingly, as the Guardian of Flamingo-Birds.

To the great annoyance of Mr Flamingo, she gets an almost savage pleasure in preening Sir Whatsit; the poor flamingo-bird can't get through a day without having his feathers messily licked clean by the demanding female.
