Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ketsueki Giri was the smallest black hatchling ever seen. Weaker and smaller, he was picked on by others. Slowly as he matured, he grew bigger and stronger, and learned to fight back. He will never be the strongest dragon no matter how hard he wishes to be. He has learned to use his head rather then brute strength alone when facing a problem. Matured and no longer picked on because of his size, he has few enemies and many many allies. A natural born leader. He never bullies weaker dragons but if they start something up with him he won't back down. He will show them why its not nice to mess with Ketsueki Giri and his allies.  He doesn't back down from a fight, but if hopelessly overpowered or outnumbered he knows how to cut his losses. He is noble and loyal to his is adopted family. He has a stable temperament but a very long memory, and will forever remember the wrongs done to him. It is unknown if he holds grudges, but with his long memory it is quite probable that he does.
