Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Underripe Banana loves hiding in hands of bananas that are yet to ripen and therefore as green as his scales. He also likes eating green bananas, and is often seen climbing through the branches with a green banana peel on his head. This has spurred a rivalry between him and the other neotropicals of Madder Jungle, who prefer to let their bananas ripen before eating, enchanting, plotting to take over the world with, or otherwise using the infamous fruit. They try to keep him out of their favorite banana trees, but being small, agile, and the same color as the leaves, it is hard to keep this fruity dragon under control. He has Peter Pan Syndrome, which is why he has never grown up and never will.
