Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Foggy Open Moor is a whiptail dragon. He is very mysterious, not to mention a bit superstitious, always on the look out for 'ghosts' and 'spirits' that might ambush him out of nowhere and hurt him. Although he is usually solitary and doesn't talk to anyone very much, he does sometimes direct lost dragons that become disoriented in the endless expanse of misty, foggy moors that he lives in, hence his name. However, he isn't anti-social, and the few of his friends who can keep up with him know him to be a very nice and kind dragon who, despite not particularly liking communicating, does love to tell any passing soul about his adventures and encounters in the plains he calls his home.
