Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Timilisa likes to sit perfectly still in one place for long enough that others mistake her for being dead. She slows herself down so that growing plants writhe as they grow and the sun races across the sky. She stays safe by trapping anything that comes too close in her time warp. Others around Lloyprij thought she was merely an eccentric and that nothing valuable could come from her hobby. That changed one winter, when Polychromos taught Timilisa the spells to magically record sights. Timilisa recorded her experience of plants growing for the Blusang Broadcasting Coalition director, who made a documentary out of the visuals narrated by the melismor David Attenburrow. As neighbours watched on their enchanted pools, magic mirrors, and other supernatural viewing systems, they finally understood their local chronoxeno's preferred pastime.
