Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lamenta of the Dusk is like most sunset dragons in her love of the evening sun. Lamenta has a particularly unusual method of showing her adoration for the sun; ever since she was a hatchling, at every sunset she has keened an eerily beautiful lament to the setting sun. Her song was originally only ever heard by those of her small clan, but every now and then human and dragon travelers would happen to be in earshot as she sung during her daily vigil. Before long, word had travelled across the land of a mysterious dragon that produces the most hauntingly beautiful and sad music that had ever been heard. When word of these rumors finally reached Lamenta, she was flattered and quick to depreciate the beauty of her own song, saying the beauty of it comes from the sunset that goes with it, not merely the song itself.
