Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ticklestick thinks it's funny, Whatever it is. He will laugh at anything, prank anyone, tickle anyone with his fluffy feathers. It was probably a bad idea to giggle at Noodly Omen though. No-one is quite sure how it happened but the result was an egg that ran away as fast as its shell could carry it. Noodly is still cross, and won't speak to Ticklestick, as he likes to keep his children close by and every last one so far has escaped. It's an OMEN, he says, and it is Ticklestick's fault. In vain Ticklestick points out that ALL Noodly's children have made a run for it; Noodly won't listen.

Ticklestick minds. He hasn't an vindictive bone in his body, and only jokes around to make people laugh with him. But he just can't stop himself, whatever the consequences.
