Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Vyolit the second was named after Vyolit, another dragon in the group. They are probably not related, but Vyolit acts like a mother to little Vyolit the second. Unlike any other immature hatchlings, she became rather sophisticated the moment she was frozen. Apparently she got a little too close to an ice dragon egg, and bumped her head on it. This disrupted and froze the nerve that was responsible for her growth, thus making her a dragonling forever. However, she takes this positively. Due to her small size she can collect treasure for the caves of her group where the others would not reach. She is quite happy.
