Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When the people of that land learned that the crimson dragon possessed a gentle mother, they had hoped he would be the same. But it was the father that the beast took after, and when they heard that name whispered in the dark, all prayers fell mute in horror.

Still the demon waited--bided his time, stirred false belief that all would be well, waiting until the world was perfectly at peace before he struck. Cities melted before his flame, lesser dragons and the humans they sought to defend lay slaughtered in the streets, and always the burning red dragon pressed on, ravenous for power, stealing the wisdom and magic of his victims for himself. The kingdom he had claimed soon fell barren, save for a mutant strain of rose, all black petals and jagged thorns. There he lurks still, content for the moment among the skeletons of his plunder, waiting for a hero who dares oppose him... a hero worthy of his malice.
