Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From hatch-hood, Gwaed would clamber over the stalagmites in the cave, claiming to be the best mountain climber in the world. When he ascended to adulthood, it came as no surprise that he left the cave, traveling around the world to find the tallest mountains, climbing from peak to peak, then soaring down, through the horizon, on to the next mountain. Although he was surrounded by beautiful scenery, Gwaed was incredibly lonely, and returned to the cave, reuniting with his old hatchmates. To his surprise, they had all found loving mates, and some of them even had children. Thinking a mate would prevent him from traveling, Gwaed ignored the females in the cave, preferring to spend his time telling stories of his adventures around the fire. When the fire had long died, an ice dragon came up to him, wanting to hear more of his adventures, so they talked into the night, of dreams, mountains and adventures. In the morning, when Gwaed left to resume his travels, he was no longer alone.
