Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Green-Eyed Envy is extremely temperamental. She goes into rages over the smallest things. Since she is a natural fighter, this can be very dangerous. When she is not in a rage over something stupid, she patrols the mouth of the cave and hunts for food during the night. Her mate is Statuesque Dignitary. He's one of the few dragons who can put up with her temperament. Whenever she gets angry at him, he just sits and ignores her. This isn't very hard for him because he's a stone dragon. His tough outer casing also protects him from any damage she might try to inflict in her rage. Other then her mate few of the dragons bother putting up with her. They prefer to give her a wide berth instead of risking one of her temper tantrums. She is a valuable player in battle though so they tolerate her because of her battle skills. She easily overpowers her enemies in battle. For her battle is as natural as sleeping and eating.
