Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Locked in his enraged state for as long as no one manages to pacify him, Lord Dunmore has fallen prey to yet another trick played by the infamous Vampire Clan. Toxic, the Vampire King, has managed to wrangle the Aegis into submission and plans to keep the holiday dragon in his beastly form forever. All he has to do it keep him from being pacified.

Dunmore, in his pacified state, is quite stoic. His emotions seemed to be hidden by the thick layers of fur that cover his body. But this silence does not mean he is cold at heart. Dunmore is very gentle and altruistic. When he first entered adulthood, without being enraged, he showed an intense interest in protecting the non-turned dragons of the cave.

Once enraged, Dunmore grew irritated and extremely vexed. He could not track down the one who triggered him, for whoever they were magically disappeared. He is sealed in an eternal cycle of anger and frustration, something that Toxic uses as a dangerous weapon.
