Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Perhaps it was because of his father's name, or perhaps it was simply an innate fascination in this dragon's gold-loving heart, but Alchemist's Hathor Enigma is obsessed with the mysterious science of alchemy. Day after day, he eagerly researches arcane texts on the subject of creating gold. Using both his considerable knowledge of metals and alloys in conjunction with his naturally powerful magic, he hopes to one day unlock the art's deepest secrets. Thus far, he has had no success, save dimly yellowing bits of steel. Other dragons look suspiciously on his practice, some considering a hoard of false gold to be no hoard at all. Not that they'll know the difference, Hathor claims, once he has truly created gold.
