Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Blitzen is a bit of a troublemaker, though not in a bad sort of way and always a pleasant surprise. In order to keep track of him, his weyr-mother has given him a special bell that only activates with his more mischievous nature, hidden in his luxurious mane at his chest. It doesn't hinder him in any way, but the other inhabitants of the Tradewinds cave at least know when he's on the prowl. He's entirely affectionate with his weyr-mother and fellow cavemates and has a tendency to leave behind a faint peppermint smell that can calm a room. He's regal and quite gentle, even taking extra special care not to hurt anyone in any way while playing tricks. He is sympathetic and compassionate at heart, and will always try to make someone feel comfortable before being playful toward them. He has been trained to accept pats on his head, however, and he expects such, lest the distant sound of his bell becomes not-so-distant in the near future.
