Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rubies Among the Rocks (Ruby Rocks) is obviously named for the eerie glow of her red eyes. While her eyes scare away the company of many hatchlings and most shy adult dragons, Ruby Rocks has the ability to attract the attention of many boisterous dragons. An example of one such dragon would be her own mate, Mountain Fire. While he is a gray dragon and spends most of his time in the air, Mountain Fire was drawn to the earth by the intense glow of Ruby Rocks' red eyes. The two rarely see each other since Ruby Rocks refuses to fly and Mountain Fire refuses to walk the earth below. It is because of this that one might not believe the two have many children together. Ruby Rocks is a great mother. Her body doubles as a jungle gym for not only her own children, but many others who are adventurous enough to get to know her. She is a gentle spirit and a pacifist at heart, however most dragons do not assume this as a first impression.
