Dorsal Dragons are so named because they have large fins along their backs that can be raised and lowered at will. They use these fins to regulate body temperature; they raise them to cool off when they become overheated. The bright colors on the fins double as a means of attracting mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Red Revenge is not quite as violent as his friend Purple Predator, but he is still rather intimidating and difficult to approach. He is the only one who can stop Predator from making pointless kills, as such wasteful actions annoy him.  

Revenge is more ready to talk with the cave mistress and will converse with her at length while Predator stomps off into the gloom.

Revenge got his name as he is always attacking the surrounding human settlements if they harm or insult a member of the clan. Though he has little concern for the daily lives of his scaled family, he nevertheless has a strong loyal streak and explodes with rage if he discovers someone has been hurt, racing to the home of the culprit to exact vengeance.
