White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Oskana works closely with the Spitfire dragons of her clan. She has discovered some while ago that glass—if it's properly formed and processed with the aid of magic—can be used to make things seem closer or farther away when a dragon looks through them.

With the help of these special glasses a normal dragon can reach the eyesight of a Nebula, and a dragon of slightly bad eyesight can lead a normal life.

Oscana has done long rows of tests on dragons in the clan and plans to approach Rose Nylund next, as she sees the Rosebud as a challenge.
