Deep Sea Dragons, as their name suggests, spend most of their time in the darkest depths of the sea. They have a bioluminescent dorsal spine that serves to attract prey and communicate with their own kind. As with many deep sea animals, they generally eat whatever they can manage to bait. They rarely leave the ocean floor, surfacing only during breeding season. When they do choose to travel to the shallower depths, they avoid bright lights and will only come up far away from shore.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A permanent air of mystery surrounds Conivolus. Living in the depths of the ocean, it is hard to believe that she even knows of the Herachus, let alone actually being a member. Rarely seen by the clan members, she spends most of her life in the darkness of the sea, sometimes coming up at night during the full moon. The sight of her breaching is one many members don't want to miss. Crowded on the edge of the cliff that borders the ocean, the clan will watch as Conivolus brings her great mass out of the water, dropping back down with a colossal crash and showering the land around her with water. The only dragons able to communicate with her are Conquasso, Salsugo and other ocean-dwelling dragons.

It is unknown exactly how old Conivolus is. Rumours are that she is over six hundred years old and is the guardian of an treasure deep in the ocean. Although many members would be able to reach it, they leave it alone as they know that Conivolus will bring it to them when it is needed most.
