White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Healing Melody is one of the few non-magi dragons to have studied at the Goldenmage Assembly.  Officially, she was there to learn healing magic from Mera Asklepius, but her true mentor was Dhia Goldenvoice.  From the magi, Healing Melody learned the art of sung magic, and has built up a repertoire of healing spells that she uses (telepathically) to soothe patients and mend wounds.  Her talent with song-spells is equal to that of Dhia, but she's much too modest to admit to this, being content to use her skills to ease pain where possible.
