Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Raised by loving and attentive parents, the dragon once known as Vaileesh took care of her parents in their final moments, found ravaged by invading humans who had pillaged their cave. Filled with sorrow and pain, she asked them in deep torment if she should seek vengeance- and her father smiled, gently putting his beautiful striped wing into hers. As she watched them die, comforting them into their final sleep, she grew a strange compassion for all things. She made it her goal to give any parting life the kindest last view of earth she could provide. For years, she has roamed the world, providing those alone and suffering with a last companion before they passed. She has gone about her work for so long that she has forgotten her name. To any dying creature she comforts, she is a sad but welcome friend, an angel of death, and an usher to the end. Somewhere in the universe, her parents are proud.
