Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ahiahi, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. She received her name like all other silvers: as a hatchling, her looks, personality, and actions were inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. Her name means "evening". Ever since she hatched, Ahiahi would only go out of her family's cave when it was dark or when there was very little light. A white dragon passing through inspected Ahiahi and said that it was simply because Ahiahi had her pupils dilated constantly and it hurt her to be out in the light. Ahiahi endured years upon years of teasing due to her condition; her bully's favorite was saying that she really was a sunset dragon and deserved to be kicked off the island. Sick of the teasing and speculation, Ahiahi spends all of her time around sunset dragons and gray dragons. The sunsets she can understand and the grays can create a cloudy day so the sun won't hurt her eyes.
