Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Andie, who considers herself female, insists incessantly that she is Lagie's dragon, not Kanaye's. She is often found in Lagie's cave snuggled up to Who Moved Trotsky's Cheese and will not budge until Lagie rousts her. Every time she trudges across the way to Kanaye's cave, Andie thinks of new and creative ways to sneak back. She once sent Trotsky's Geronimo Stilton back to Kanaye's in her place, hoping Kanaye had so many cheeses she wouldn't notice. It wasn't to be. She sulked for an entire week afterword until she started making the ultimate plan to become, once and for all, Lagie's dragon.
