Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Golden Phantom was born of an actress mother and his father was a singer in the opera so it is no surprise that he wound up following in his father's footsteps despite growing up in an entirely different cave. His favorite among the dramatic arts is that by which he gained his name, The Phantom of the Opera, and often he will go into the depths of the cave system that he and the other dragons call home and sing to the best of his great ability, his words and voice echoing through the caves for all and any to hear though he has found that he cannot sing in front of people as he is shy about being caught singing. Often little Dark Mistress of Song, a small black dragon under the influence of a forever young spell will follow him down and she soon came to accompany him in song, her little voice often drowned out by his deeper, more trained voice. He has come to not mind her and often brings her in with him where he teaches her his art.
