Bolt Dragons are incredibly powerful dragons with the ability to wield lightning magic. They can be ruthless on occasion, but are generally mild unless provoked. Due to their intelligence and keen observational skills, it is incredibly arduous to attack a Bolt Dragon undetected. If threatened by a formidable opponent, Bolt Dragons will flare out their fin-like appendages to make themselves look more menacing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ming Strike holds a place of honor among a clan of domesticated Bolt Dragons that are utilized by a highly skilled group of soldiers from a kingdom in the far east. From the moment they were recruited into the eastern army, the combined skill and camaraderie of Ming Strike and the human soldier she was paired to helped them rise through the ranks faster than any of the others. Today, they hold the rank of Grand Marshal. Some say this was only to be expected, as Ming Strike is rumored to be a descendant of the wizened old Bolt Dragon who, according to legend, helped organize the eastern army when they were little more than untrained peasants. While no one knows how true the legend is, the human soldiers have always held a great respect to all Bolt Dragons, and have even styled their armor to resemble their appearance.
