Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She is fierce, fast, and intelligent. A lethal hunter, a fearsome warrior is who Night's Twirling Ribbon is. She moves with an unearthly grace, twisting and whirling in battle like she is dancing a complicated tango with her opponent. She lives alone, and often roams in the shadows of the caves where she dwells, searching for another dragon like herself. But night after night she finds none, and returns to her regal prowl throughout her territory. Many fear her, but the hellfire wyvern often comes and watches her, and she knows. She never approaches him, but is aware of his presence.  It leads her to wonder, if perhaps he could be one to intrust with her secrets. But a regal black dragoness has no time for such thoughts, or so she thinks.
