Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot, but when it’s awake, it’s quite a handful.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fluffy Snuggles is playmate and sibling to Floofy snuggles. Both abandoned by their wild mother for being unusually small eggs, they were rescued by Rosewicket and brought to the safety of her cave. Although Fluffy is younger he is a lot more outgoing than his sister and tends to be an overtly adventurous handful. Despite his many mishaps and clumsy accidents Fluffy is very much loved by his human guardian, his sister, and all the other dragons in his adopted family. Every night Rosewicket, Fluffy and his sister curl up together, Fluffy's little legs twitching as he dreams of tomorrows adventures in their cave system, while his sister tends herbs with their human mother.
