Lihnseyre Dragons are innately in tune with the souls of creatures around them, informing these dragons of where and what life forms are near. These solitary creatures use this ability to evade others and watch from a distance, staying out of sight or soaring high up in the air. As they have a tendency to “see” and appreciate souls more than the actual wielders of said souls, they are rather detached in terms of emotional and personal connections. Though some tell stories of their anger and sorrow being washed away by these dragons or being freed from weariness, this is not out of inherent goodwill; they simply prefer the feeling of peaceful souls. While hard to anger, a Lihnseyre Dragon, once enraged, will unleash powerful magic to sever the soul tether—the connection between a being’s material body and its extra-planar soul—of the offender and effectively end their life with cold indifference.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A few centuries ago, Mortigenesis lived in a tower near a human village. They would keep adventurers from harassing him, and he would keep things calm and happy in return. Then Thyras and her desipis came. MG tried, as he was wont, to calm their perturbed souls to no avail (many are still convinced the white is mentally ill and incurable). As October came and the desipis's power waxed, he became angry enough to try and split the two dragons' souls from their bodies, but being befuddled by desipis magic, he tore the soul from one of his humans instead. Thyras tried to get the body for her experiments, the village elder sought to revive him, and MG sought to undo her miscast spell. The boy was ultimately brought back half-alive and half-zombie. MG realised Thyras wanted his magic and fled to sea to lure them away from his home. He has never been seen since.

The villagers remember "a great storm" where the tower was "destroyed", but it still stands and H0-oHH the horse dragon lives there.
