Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This cheerfully cheeky creature loves candy more than anything else in the entire world. As such, he's particularly fond of Halloween, a holiday that not only falls during his birth season, but is also chock-full of sweets! Most people, however, are more inclined to run away shrieking when they see a dragon than they are to present them with chocolate, and so he's come up with a cunning ploy to get what he wants. Concealing himself in leaf piles, he calls out in a squeaky, childish voice whenever people carrying delicious pies or fine fudges draw near, declaring "trick or treat!" Those kindly people who mistake the voice for a child and throw some sweets to him get a cheerful thank you and continue on their way none the wiser, but those who refuse him get the "trick" part--namely, this dragon bursting out of the leaf pile, roaring fiercely all the while! His victims usually then drop their goodies in shock--allowing him to nab the treats and cheerfully flee into the darkness.
