Melismor Dragons are social, good-natured dragons that enjoy the shelter of forested areas. They live in close-knit family groups, burrowing deep into the earth and creating extensive, winding networks of underground burrows. While rarely seen at the surface, Melismor Dragons, when encountered, are known to be fiercely loyal and protective, yet kind when their families aren’t in any danger. These dragons are omnivorous, but most of their diet consists of plants, especially tender roots, and honey is a favored treat they’ll often bring back to their burrows to share.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ferretimorous is a sculptor, though she spends much of her time digging for clay and other minerals to use for making clays and glazes. She digs clay for the other sculptors, potters, and beauticians in Nworset, and makes more of her living off of that than from her sculpting. Recently Kwntkz commissioned her to make a portrait of Eve and Adam the split. Neither head could sit still for very long, so Ferretimorous gave them each a lump of clay and a handful of tools—a fettling knife, a wire tool, a metal rib, a needle tool—so they could work on something to entertain themself while she used them as her model. When she was almost done, Bcwow barged in, startling Ferretimorous and making her smoosh the bust of Eve. When Ferretimous finally got herself calm enough to start again, she realised she had misplaced her tools and the honey drake Wimbledon got her sticky paws into them and glued them to herself. Adam wasn't using his ceramics tools, so he gave her his rib to make Eve.
