Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Berfert was born in the cave where Shade1193 found her. She loved racing as a hatchling, and was always giving the adult dragons trouble by running around. As she grew she developed a very sharp tongue she uses often. One of her favorite things to do is race with NightNGale because she is the only one that gives her a challenge. However, she rarely gets the other dragon to race. She is often asked to carry messages though trying to find and catch her is difficult.
