Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Even in his childhood, Leo Firma was a very calm, composed, serious, pragmatic and stoic individual. Leo is a realist who takes things and people for what and who they are. Because of his assertive personality, he is even able to talk down dragons with a higher status who would then sulk and sometimes obey his commands. Leo also has the habit of folding his arms, a trait he's had since his youth. One of Leo's most notable traits is that he is one of the hugest dragons in the clan. He is even larger than certain mountains. Because of this he is nicknamed in his clan as "the walking volcano". He lives in one of the largest volcanoes in his clan territory. Only leaving his volcano to hunt or to fiercely protect his clan. He is very territorial about his volcano. Only allowing certain dragons that have good reason to be there to enter. Since his clan protects itself sufficiently and magma dragons hardly need any food, Leo leaves his volcano rarely. Some clan members even think he is dead.
